Zucker’s Bagels and Smoked Fish is one of the better located restaurants in Tribeca with a shop on Chambers Street and West Broadway. Just a five-minute walk from the Duane Street Hotel, it’s one of our favorite places to refer guests looking for a good breakfast and some of New York City’s famous bagels. The property and restaurant are also within walking distance of the Freedom Tower and Battery Park.

What to Get

It’s all in the name. When you go to Zucker’s Bagels and Smoked Fish, it’s imperative that you try a bagel and lox sandwich. The signature, “Zucker’s Traditional,” comes with Nova Scotia salmon, plain cream cheese, beefsteak tomatoes, red onions and capers. To step things up, order it with some of the prized gravlax.

Smoked fish isn’t your thing? No worries, Zucker’s Bagels and Smoked Fish also serves a wide variety of tasty breakfast and deli sandwiches. Early morning diners can’t go wrong with an order of two scrambled eggs on an everything bagel with Canadian bacon and cheddar cheese. Later in the afternoon, you should try the “Reuben Reuben Reuben,” which comes with classic fillers like fresh corned beef, pastrami or roast turkey with sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and Russian dressing.
