Distilled is one of many distinguished restaurants in Tribeca, and located on West Broadway and Franklin Street, it’s just a five-minute walk from the Duane Street Hotel. It’s also a short stroll away from Battery Park and the Freedom Tower. You can follow up a meal here with a trip down to the Seaport, or up to hip boutiques and colorful streets of Soho.

What to Try

When dining at Distilled, you can sample distinguished plates from beginning to end. For starters, we are quite fond of its fried plantains served with horseradish, smoked ham and a house mayo. They also do a peculiar, yet electrifying combination of octopus and potatoes, with celery, parsley and herb fondue that’s well worth a bite.

Moving to entree time, you can have fun with tasty dishes from the farm and sea. Be sure to consider the country fried duck and waffle, the latter of which is served French toast style.  Another can’t-fail entree at Distilled is the Chatham mussels, which come with spiced sausage, kale, garlic butter and a baguette.

After your meal, there are plenty of sweet options to send you home satisfied, We suggest getting a classic, house made s’more with a “cowboy coffee,” which is a warm cocktail comprised of a coffee reduction, Amaretto, egg yolk, lemon and chipotle dust.
