The renowned Vienna Philharmonic is returning to one of Manhattan’s most storied venues this February. Led by conductor Valery Gergiev, the ensemble will take on a series of selections from Richard Wagner’s legendary Götterdämmerung, one of the German composer’s three Ring Cycle operas. . Using elegant sound to tell a story filled with heartbreak, murder and immolation, the program sure to ring throughout Carnegie with the utmost vigor.
