A One of a Kind Experience at the Tennis US Open

This year’s Tennis US Open is taking place in Flushing, NY. Just a twenty-minute drive from Manhattan and accessible by various forms of public transportation, the event is an exciting addition to the city’s late-summer events calendar.

Arguably one of the most classic and beloved of all Major professional tennis tournaments in existence, the US Open will bring New York two weeks of world-class athletic competition. The tournament has long been a staple for the resurgence of seasoned professionals, and rising stars on their way too great careers. Past winners include all-time greats like Rafael Nadal, Serena Williams, Pete Sampras, Martina Navratilova and more.

This year’s Open promises to carry that tradition of greatness with an amazing collection of athletes set to play. Nadal and Williams will return in an effort to add to their titles list. Novak Djokovic is currently the favorite for the men’s singles.

The stakes will be at an all time high this year, as the US Open will be awarding over $38 million dollars in prize money. The upped ante is a blatant testament to the perpetual growth in popularity and attention the Open attracts.

These brilliant athletes will perform on the revered and inspiringly atmospheric stages of Arthur Ashe Stadium and Louie Armstrong Stadium. In addition to the ideal aesthetics the stadium provides for attendees, the Open is hosting a variety of travel guides and dining experiences for an optimal guest experience. Restaurants, Aces and Champions Bar & Grill will be serving up topnotch food courtside to give viewers the cherry on top of a wonderful US Open experience.

While the whole world tunes in through their televisions, laptops and iPhones, New Yorkers and those visiting will be able to take the trip out to Flushing and see this classic event live. The tournament runs from August 25- September 8th with the competition getting more heated the longer it runs.
