One evening every year, a stretch of New York City’s most iconic museums open their doors and offer free admission to all. Some of the more notable participants include the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Guggenheim Museum, Neue Galerie, and The Jewish Museum. Along the route, a number of family-friendly attractions pop up in the street. From chalk drawing to silly clown performances and face painting, there’s essentially a fair to accompany this day of complimentary culture.
