The annual NYC Chinatown Lunar New Year Parade enlivens Lower Manhattan for one day each February — this year’s celebration happens February 20, 2015. Just a few blocks from Duane Street Hotel, the vibrant parade features elaborate floats, live music, traditional dance performances, and the authentic cuisine for which Chinatown NYC is known.
The Chinese New Year Parade in New York City gets started with the annual Chinatown Firecracker Ceremony and Cultural Festival, taking place at 11 a.m., Thursday February 19, 2015 at Sara D. Roosevelt Park. The Lunar New Year Parade itself kicks off at 1 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2015
