Owned by notorious mobster Al Capone in the 1920’s, Webster Hall was a regular hot spot for strong (illegal!) booze during prohibition. At that time, the venue quickly earned its moniker as the “Jewel of the Village” among its rebellious clientele. Fast-forward to now, 130 years since its inception, and Webster Hall is a successful concert venue with a thriving nightlife scene that’s thoroughly modern (think Red Bull & Vodkas with EDM). For one night, this legendary venue is resurrecting the 1920’s vibe with its 4th Annual Beer and Whiskey Festival called East Ville des Folies. Come feel like you’re breaking the rules (while living within the law, of course) without having to go anywhere near bathtub gin.
