We love Fall, Union Square and Farmers Market when you put all three together you get Harvest in the Square! On Thursday September 18 don’t miss Harvest in the Square an annual celebration of local food and community in Union Square.  This year Harvest in the Square is in its 19th year and tickets are highly coveted. The event takes place in the North plaza of Union Square Park and starts at 7:30 p.m. and general tickets are $125. VIP tickets are $400. VIP Tickets get you early access, unlimited tastings and signature cocktails.   At this year’s Union Square Park they’re expecting over 1,200 residents and business leaders.  Chefs at some of the most well-known Union Square restaurants participate using ingredients sourced from the Union Square Greenmarket.

The Union Square Monday Greenmarket is open year round from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Union Square Greenmarket has been a staple in the community since 1976.  Grownnyc.org features the changing daily farmer list so you can plan your healthy and hearty fall meals accordingly. The Greenmarket isn’t just a traditional farmer’s market; they also offer cooking demonstrations which highlight the flavors of the season.
