Known as the largest Pride celebration in the world, with the biggest LGBTQIA+ march in the world, NYC Pride 2019 will surely be an unforgettable event. The 30-day affair will run through the month of June and feature more than 50 events for over three-million guests. This Year, NYC Pride welcomes WorldPride to honor the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots and pay respect to a half-century of fighting for equal rights.

OutCinema is a one-of-a-kind film experience that celebrates and screens films from the LGBTQIA+ community for three days and nights during Pride. In addition to the screenings, there will also be open bar after-parties, Q&As and fundraising for NYC Pride and NewFest.
CosPlay & Pride
CosPlay & Pride is an enjoyable and creative event where guests come together in their best cosplay costumes for a party with live entertainment and contests. NYC Pride puts this event on with the creators of FlameCon and the nonprofit Geeks OUT.
Pride Luminaries Brunch
The eighth annual Pride Luminaries Brunch will gather together business leaders who have made an impact on LGBTQIA+ equality in the workplace for an morning and afternoon of chats and eats. This event comes courtesy of the National LGBT Chamber of commerce, and the dress code is “brunch chic.”
Human Rights Conference
NYC Pride annually hosts an important Human Rights Conference, and this year’s installment will take place at New York Law School in Tribeca. Come join activists, artists, educators, journalists, policymakers, and students for two days of meaningful conversations, presentations, and lectures.
GameChangers is a celebratory event that honors leaders of the LGBTQIA+ community who’ve changed the entertainment industry for the better. The evening will be constructed as a series of Q&A discussions with a panel discussion, and a networking reception to close out the evening.
WorldPride Opening Ceremony
WorldPride is a global LGBTQIA+ organization that’s coming to the United States for the first time to celebrate NYC Pride 2019 with us. Come out for the WorldPride Opening Ceremony to commemorate this global connection being made at the festival this year. Check the NYC Pride website for updates on details regarding this ceremony.
Last year was the first installment of NYC Pride’s culinary fundraiser event Savor Pride, and its return this summer is highly anticipated. Come out for in-depth cooking demonstrations, curated discussions with celebrated chefs, and mouth-watering tastings. This event comes from NYC Pride and God’s Love We Deliver.
Rally: Stonewall 50 Commemoration
This free-to-attend event will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the monumental Stonewall Uprising. The rally will feature community activists, organizers and politicians taking the streets fifty years after the first NYC Pride Rally happened a month following the Stonewall Riots of 1969.
Youth Pride is returning to Central Park’s awesome SummerStage venue this summer for LGBTQIA+ and ally teens to get together and celebrate the youth. Interactive experiences, games, and live entertainment will be available at this event, which is free and open to everyone under 21 years old. Those who are 21+ can register and pay a $10 entry fee to join.
Since 1970, New Yorkers have taken to the streets to march for equality for the Queer community. Expect more than 100 floats, plus over 500 various organizations to take part in the march, which goes down Fifth Ave from Madison Square Park and cuts through the West Village before heading back uptown on 7th Ave to finish in Chelsea. Anywhere is a great spot to watch, but if you’re looking for the biggest party, plan on watching in the West Village.
PrideFest is an annual street fair that brings NYC Pride to life in a sprawling and awe-inspiring way. The massive event combines exhibitors, live entertainers, interactive activities, activism and more together in a celebration and fight for equality.
